The Pore Filler is a water-based product specifically designed to prepare surfaces before applying Optimum Varnish.

It ensures excellent adhesion by effectively filling surface pores, providing a smooth base that enhances the varnish's grip and guarantees a flawless finish. This primer is essential for protecting your surfaces while extending the durability of the finishing layers.

When Should I Use a Pore Filler?

  • My surface is porous.
  • I plan to protect my surface with Optimum Varnish, so I need to apply the Pore Filler first.
  • I want to ensure my finishing varnish adheres perfectly.
  • I need to prevent moisture infiltration or damage before applying the protective layer.

Application:

The Pore Filler is applied directly to a clean and dry surface using a roller. Once applied, it penetrates the pores to smooth the surface texture. Allow the product to dry fully before applying the varnish to ensure a long-lasting, even finish.

Note: For ISY microcement or varnishes other than Optimum Varnish, the Pore Filler is not required.

Tips:

  • Ensure the surface is completely dry before application.
  • Check the surface’s moisture content using a digital hygrometer (maximum 2%).
  • If your surface is not porous or still damp, do not use this product. Strictly follow drying times to achieve professional and long-lasting results.
