Liquid Screed

Fluid screeds, also called liquid screeds, are commonly realized in renovation. They have many advantages: perfect flatness, resistance, low burden of work. These fluid mortars self-leveling were put in place through the natural gravitational force which gives them a real ease of implementation and the assurance of a result of excellent flatness. A fluid screed consists of sand, water, cement (binder) and adjuvant that provides to the mix its fluidity. As for the anhydrite screed, the fluid CAP requires a higher drying time compared to a traditional screed, around 2 months depending on size of the screed. Sanding will then be necessary to flatten small irregularities appearing during the drying phase. The final lining, whether tiled or wooden floors, can be performed once the clevis reaches adequate moisture."
