The Optimum Concrete Varnish is a two-component resin designed to provide superior protection for surfaces exposed to heavy wear, water splashes, or grease.

Available in matte, satin, or glossy finishes, this water-based varnish is perfect for kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms, and other high-traffic areas.

Application Instructions

The surface must be durable, sound, clean, dry, and free of moisture. Ensure your surface is porous and that no waterproofing additives have been applied.

For highly porous surfaces, apply a pore filler to promote optimal adhesion. Once the pore filler has dried, apply two cross-coats of varnish for a smooth, durable finish.

Maintenance

To preserve the quality of your varnish, clean regularly with natural or pH-neutral cleaning products. Black soap and neutral cleaners are ideal as they are gentle and non-abrasive.

Reapply a layer of varnish every 2 to 3 years, depending on wear. To extend this interval, consider applying a protective wax or using a "clean and shine" product that cleans and enhances the varnish simultaneously.

Pro Tips

• While matte finishes are trendy, we recommend satin or glossy finishes for easier daily maintenance, as matte surfaces tend to retain dirt.
• For improved slip resistance, add anti-slip powder to the first coat of varnish.
• To achieve a matte effect with enhanced durability, first apply two satin coats, then finish with a third matte coat. This ensures the desired matte look without compromising protection.
