For best results, apply the pore filler to a clean, dry surface. This step prepares the base, allowing the varnish to adhere securely. Once the pore filler is dry, apply Harmony Optimum Varnish® carefully, following the technical sheet’s guidelines for optimal dosing to achieve a long-lasting finish. To maintain your varnished surface, clean regularly with gentle, non-abrasive products. Avoid harsh cleaners that may damage the finish. For long-term protection, reapply a new layer approximately every 2–3 years.
- Ensure the surface is fully dry before applying the varnish, and monitor ambient temperature and humidity for optimal drying conditions.
- Satin or glossy finishes are recommended for ease of maintenance, as matte finishes may be more challenging to clean.
- Every 3–6 months, consider applying a protective wax to extend the varnish’s lifespan; this wax layer provides additional wear resistance.
Depending on surface size, one or more complimentary application rollers are included:
- 25 m²: 2.5 L pore filler + 4 kg varnish + 1 x 25 cm roller
- 50 m²: 5 L pore filler + 8 kg varnish + 1 roller with a 30 or 40 cm handle (subject to availability)
- 75 m²: 7.5 L pore filler + 12 kg varnish + 1 roller with a 30 or 40 cm handle (subject to availability)
- 100 m²: 10 L pore filler + 16 kg varnish + 2 rollers with 30 or 40 cm handles (subject to availability)
