In order to effectively protect your concrete surfaces, apply a coat of wood filler and two coats of lacquer Optimum.
Depending on your tastes, choose between a matte, satin or gloss finishes !
Harmony Pore Sealant is a water-based primer/pore sealant which is recommended for use prior to the application of Harmony Optimum Lacquer.

Clean tools in water after use.
The base surface must be resistant, sound, solid, clean, dry and free of humidity.
Use Harmony neutral agent or Harmony degreaser for any cleaning required (to remove grease, oil etc).
Application must be completed within a temperature range of 5° - 25°.
Coverage: 1 litre/10 - 12m2.
Apply a thin and uniform film in a ratio of 1 litre per 10 m2, applied in a single coat.Where a lacquer roller is used, apply a crosswise action to ensure the effective spreading of pore sealant. Do not create any excess thickness.
Where a large area is to be covered, use the 250 or 500 mm PermaPro special floor nozzle, or the PermaPro paint gun.
On an anhydrite screed or smoothed concrete, it is recommended to moisten the base slightly with a microfibre mop before applying.
If the existing soil has a high porosity, a second layer must be applied.
Wait 2 to 4 hours before applying Optimum Lacquer. In winter drying time may take longer.
Harmony Optimum Lacquer is a hard two-component water-based aliphatic polyurethane resin.
The product is characterised by a strong resistance to abrasion and excellent surface protection for floors, or walls (indoors) that are subjected to intensive use, or water splashes.
Also good for bathrooms, shower rooms and toilets.

Dosage: 1 kg = 6 - 7 m2 in two coats.
4 kg-Set: component A = 3,1 kg, component B = 900 g.
2 kg-Set: component A = 1,55 kg, component B = 440 g.
1kg-Set: component A = 770gr, component B = 230gr
Art.-Nr. 4000 = glossy, Art.-Nr. 4100 matt, Art.-Nr. 4200 satin finish. The weight may vary slightly depending on the finish chosen.
Storage: 12 months in unopened original packaging, stored in a dry and frost-free location.

Usually the substrate is prepared with Harmony pore filler.
Wait 4 hours before applying Harmony Optimum Lacquer.
Application temperature: Minimum 5°C; Maximum 25°C.
Attention: if the temperature is too high, or air is humid/damp (example: new house unheated), the paint can not dry out, or change its appearance (become more shiny).
To facilitate the installation, you can add up to 10% of warm water when applying the first coat. In this case, stir the water well, otherwise there will be differences in gloss.
Components A and B are weighed separately.
Also, thoroughly mix component A before adding component B.
For a 4 kg set: mix 1.55 kg of component A with 450 g of component B.
For a 2 kg kit: mix 780 g of component A with 220 g of component B.
For a 1kg kit: mix 385 g of component A with 115 g of component B.
Mix A and B well with a mechanical mixer.
Apply Harmony Optimum Lacquer with a roller in cross passes.
Attention: do not apply too thick.
Lacquer is usable 45 min after mixing.
Once the first coat is touch-dry apply the second coat
Drying time: depending on temperature and humidity between 5 and 10 hours.
The remaining A and B components are mixed again after homogenizing component A with a mechanical mixer.
Wait at least 12 hours after applying the second coat before proceeding.
For a silky surface, sand the paint with a 600 grit sandpaper.
Wait at least 48 to 72 hours before placing furniture on the floor.
