Kit béton ciré - Shower with the tightness and angles

The application of polished concrete in a shower must be done according to the DTU, on a waterproof backing. The wallboard water-repellent or equivalent products are not considered to be a waterproof backing.

It is therefore necessary to apply an under-coat so-called tight prior to application of polished concrete.

For the junction between the plate and wallboard or between the floor and the wall, the band fibered glued with the epoxy resin can fix the whole and prevent any cracks at the point of junction.

Composition of the kit :

10 m2 :

• 5 kg Waterproof underlay
• 20 kg of polished concrete and 5 litres of resin
• 1 litre of filler
• 2 kg of varnish Optimum
• 1 roll of fibre glass ( 15 cm x 25 ml)

The waterproof underlay enables sealing of the media on which you are going to come to apply the concrete wax.

Roll of glass fiber can fasten the corners of the walls and the shower tray.

This kit is not suitable if you have a tiled shower except if the latter has defects of sealing.
