How to Determine the Right Primer
Test the surface to determine whether it is porous or closed:
- Place a few drops of water on the surface.
- If the water is absorbed, the surface is porous (use Prim).
- If the water beads up or remains on the surface, it is closed (use Prim Plus).
Application Instructions
- Prepare the Surface: Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free of dust or grease.
- Apply the Primer: Using a roller or brush, apply a thin, even layer of Prim Plus to the surface.
- Drying Time: Allow the primer to dry completely before applying the final coating.
Note: For surfaces in wet environments (e.g., showers, sinks, etc.), ensure proper waterproofing is completed beforehand using a waterproof undercoat and fiberglass reinforcement tape for angles.
